The Grand Rapids Symphonette is a West Michigan orchestra comprised of volunteer musicians from the greater Grand Rapids area. The musicians represent a wide variety of occupations, musical backgrounds, and ages. Our repertoire includes light classics, old favorites, and novelty works, selected to appeal to all audiences. Our mission is to bring orchestral performances to those who cannot easily travel to live concerts. We perform concerts on Wednesdays at senior citizen communities and retirement homes during the fall and spring.
